Why only be interesting on one side of your ears? Lucite by nature is a really light-weight material. So these trendy pieces are not only lovely, but comfortable to wear. Front piece measures about 8mm in diameter or so, and back is about 12x18mm. But see the last picture to get an idea of scale & how they will look on you. Most all earrings electro-set by hand & made with vintage lucite parts that were made in Rhode Island in the 1960's - early 80's by Best Plastics. I hand-set them with surgical steel earring posts and they have sturdy surgical steel\/acrylic backings on them as well. See picture of striped earrings for a view of the backs.
